- Special programme for centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa proved a unanimous hit
- 116 pages of words and photographs linking past and present
- Programme still available at a discounted rate
- Centenary edition merchandising collection almost sold out
A little over 10 days have passed since the centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa came to an end. The emotions have gradually subsided, but the memories remain vivid. In fact, are you already feeling a little nostalgic? Are you counting down the days until the 2025 edition? Because we certainly are.
Since returning home, perhaps you have taken the time to read our collector’s edition programme in more detail. Spanning 116 pages, this unique numbered publication was published in three languages: French, English and Dutch. With a fresh and dynamic layout, superior quality paper, detailed and precise articles, and a superb selection of recent and archive photos, it was a unanimous hit.
The 22 pages covering the first century of the race, interspersed with some wonderful historic images, brought back plenty of memories. Interviews with Stéphane Ratel, Vincent Vosse, the Vanthoor brothers, Louis and Jef Machiels, and the Martin family (Jean-Michel, Philippe and Maxime) provided a clearer picture of the personalities that have helped to shape this legendary event.
A presentation of the nine participating brands – complete with detailed statistics – and of all 66 crews also represent a souvenir that you will be happy to rediscover in a few weeks, a few months, a few years. There are technical articles (covering the Excellium Racing 100 fuel from TotalEnergies, Pirelli tyres, and the differences between GT3, GT2 and GT4) while you also have a complete guide to the wide world of GT racing.
As a special gift, you will also find the event’s official poster, which depicts the Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL AMG from 1971 and the contemporary Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo from CrowdStrike by Riley, winner in Pro-Am this year, climbing Raidillon. Nine more posters, featuring the other participating brands and a special addition, are shown together on the reverse.
But what if you didn't have the opportunity to purchase a programme, or the original was lost or damaged? Good news: there are still a few copies left in all three languages. You can order yours at a special price (€6 euros instead of €10) in the merchandising area of the official CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa website: HERE
This is also where you will find the few items remaining from the special "centenary edition" collection, which was on sale before the race and on-site during race week. It includes hoodies, t-shirts, caps, posters and more. But don’t delay, because there won’t be enough for everyone!
