Phantom Global Racing has signed Thomas Preining, Jaxon Evans and Joel Eriksson to contest the centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa (26–30 June), which will mark the Porsche team's first-ever twice-around-the-clock race.
The Chinese squad finished fourth on its debut outing at the Bathurst 12 Hour in February, with Evans and Eriksson also part of the line-up at the Australian enduro. Since then, the team has continued its 2024 season with positive showings in Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS, where Evans and Eriksson are also part of the line-up, as well as in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.
At the CrowdStrike Hours of Spa, Phantom Global Racing will also be able to count on reigning DTM champion Preining. The Austrian has already taken on the 24 Hours of Spa three times, finishing fifth in 2023. He has plenty more experience in the Porsche 911 GT3 R, including an assault on the FIA GT World Cup in Macau last November.
In addition to his eye-catching performance at Bathurst, New Zealander Evans comes with a strong racing C.V. The 27-year-old has won both the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia and France titles and has competed in Porsche GT machinery in various championships, including WEC, IMSA, Porsche Supercup and more.
Eriksson completes the trio and will be making his CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa debut. The Swedish racer also showed excellent pace at Mount Panorama for Phantom Global Racing and has been racing in the Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS), taking a victory and a podium so far this year.

Phantom Global Racing is the second Porsche squad to confirm a Pro crew for Spa in the past few days, with SSR Herberth announcing its plans for a one-off attack on Monday. Track activity for the centenary race begins on Tuesday 26 June, building up to the start of the main event at 16:30 CEST on Saturday 29 June.
